Dear parents and students:
"School" is a community built together by teachers and students, and a place for mutual learning and growth. Some joke that students of Chen Nan-chang Memorial School generally lack the following 5 A qualities:
1A: Attentiveness (lack of focus),
2A: Adaptation/Adjustment (difficulty adapting),
3A: Attendance (inconsistent attendance),
4A: Academic Achievement (below-average academic performance) and
5A: Attitude (negative attitude).
In fact, everyone is endowed with different abilities; some have strong observational skills, others are highly creative, and some can remember everything they see. Each student is a unique individual; there's no need to compare ourselves with others. As long as we make good use of our strengths and persevere in learning, there will be opportunities to become professionals like our alumni who are accountants, social workers, and teachers, contributing to society. Students just need to plan their lives well and will surely be able to choose their own paths.
Luckily, our school has teachers with a 5A teaching attitude:
1A: Acceptance (actively accepting),
2A: Appreciation (appreciation),
3A: Accompany (accompanying growth),
4A: Achieve (goal-oriented), and
5A: Award (recognition and rewards).
I sincerely thank the teachers for their relentless efforts, focusing on the welfare of the students, providing appropriate support, addressing their different learning needs, enhancing their concentration, and self-discipline, improving their social skills, and facilitating a smooth transition. I believe that under the meticulous teaching of our dedicated teachers, students can grow in all aspects, unleash their potential, make good use of their strengths, and strive upward to realize their dreams.
As the new school year begins, I wish that students will face various opportunities and challenges with the right values and a positive and optimistic attitude, establish personal development goals, set practical directions, and prepare well for their career planning.
