- In 1961, the school began offering formal primary education for children.
- In 1970, the school was officially registered as a special school specifically for children with emotional and behavioral adaptation difficulties.
- In 1993, the school started a junior high school program, and in February the following year, it moved to its current location.

- In 2004, the school launched an experimental high school program, with the first batch of Year 5 students graduating in 2007; by 2009, the school had three batches of Year 5 graduates.
- In 2009, the school formally started new high school classes, initiating a regular new high school curriculum and providing slots for students from the original school to advance to the new high school program.

- In February 1993, the school had an enrollment capacity of 150 students.
- In April 1999, the residential capacity was reduced from 120 to 96 beds.
- In September 2008, the school's enrollment limit was restored to 120 seats, with the remaining slots for day students, accommodating male middle school students aged 12 to 16.
